Currently, one of the anticipations of the gaming community is for Marvel vs Capcom 4.

The crossover series has been extremely popular in the gaming community, and now in high demand because of the duration between subsequent releases, however, a fourth game is highly unlikely to happen because of some issues with rights, thus making it even so desirable. A new Marvel vs Capcom game was reported no production development because Capcom is not paying royalties to Marvel for its licensed characters such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool and Iron Man.

Many gaming fans have started expecting more games from the series when Capcom first introduced the Marvel vs Capcom game series, which features its own characters along with popular heroes and villains from Marvel comics. The game franchise has come up with three titles, including the previous game Marvel vs Capcom 3, which was released back in 2012.

Japanese Capcom game developer Yoshinori Ono had given a hint about the future of this gaming crossover. Apparently, it is not a good news as Ono replied a fan who asked about the possibility of a new installment, and he tweeted that that Capcom is not working on a new Marvel vs Capcom game at the moment, The Bitbag reported.

Despite Ono's confirmation about the slim possibility of the crossover, Marvel Games vice president Jay Ong told Polygon they are aware about fans request and their feedbacks matter. However, they cannot give anything about the crossover's future.

Ong added that Marvel is currently has a lot of things in the works.

Meanwhile, there was a European pro player Ryan Hart, who tried to make a Guinness World Record for the title "Most consecutive opponents on Street Fighter V," by intending to set a record by playing against 250 players in 12 hours.
