Free online doctor may now be possible as Google's new update for mobile app and website allows users search for symptoms, and even gives you a list of possible conditions.
If you wake up with a headache or fever, or you cannot define that feeling, the first thing that you will do is ask Google. A new update of Google will help you define the symptoms so you know what to do next.
On June 20, Monday, Google introduced mobile site, as well iOS and Android apps that feature tracking down information and medical symptoms. This means that you will not only see or search for a condition, but Google allows you to search for a symptom, CNET reported.
The search engine also provides potential condition, possible treatments, and most importantly, it will give you some sources or how to get more information online, and help you find which type of doctor you should consult. If you try to search about ailments, the search engine points you to reliable sites such as the Mayo Clinic, WebMD, and Medline plus.
How Google made this update?
They put all together a list of symptoms that can be found in search results. For example, "lower back pain," it will check each symptom and its medical information got from doctors for its Knowledge Graph, a new feature used by Google to improve its search engine's search results.
Meanwhile, Microsoft conducted some power consumption test for its Edge browser, which was reported to be a new rival of Google Chrome, Opera, and Firefox, Make Use Of reported. In a video released by Microsoft Edge on Youtube, it shows four identical laptops that were set off streaming a movie. The result of experiment is, the battery life on a PC running Microsoft Edge lasts 70% unlike Chrome, that only lasts 43% longer than Firefox Firefox and Opera that only lasts 17%.
