While the manufacturer's latest flagship - "OnePlus 3," has stood out since it launched this week, another device of the company is slowly being pushed to the sidelines - "OnePlus X."

During the launching of OnePlus 3, OnePlus company made it known to the public that the "OnePlus X" would not be refreshed this year. The company ignored "OnePlus X" to give way for their flagship, Engadget reported.

The particular announcement went on to state that OnePlus company is looking to keep their center of interest on its flagship "OnePlus 3" device, as an alternative of offering a cheaper gadget, Ecumenical News reported.

Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus company, explained that the focal point of the company is on one flagship rather than manufacturing more budget-priced gadgets.

However, when the "OnePlus X" hit the market last year, many individuals were impressed with the device's design. As the "OnePlus X" came with a metal frame and the gadget's back panel was made from glass while the other had ceramic.

The design of "OnePlus X" was extremely different from the flagship OnePlus 2 smartphones - which was unleashed last year. Where the back panels of "OnePlus 2" were made from sandstone and other materials such as wood and Kevlar.

"OnePlus X" made its customers pretty happy, as they were keen on the price tag of $249 - in which the "OnePlus X" was considered to be extremely affordable. Even though "OnePlus X" did not have U.S. specified LTE bands, the device was provided with a respectable ratings with many reviewers.

Despite of that, a spokesperson for OnePlus stated that producing "OnePlus X 2" (a follow up for "OnePlus X") will not happen, TechRadar reported.

As OnePlus will focus on their flagship line of phones, that includes the "OnePlus 3," OnePlus company will persist in an activity to sell the "OnePlus X" and continue to provide all the support the existing and new "OnePlus X" customers needs.
