Four Morehouse College students have been accused and charged in two separate sexual assault cases, May 2, for raping two female students from Spelman College, March.

Out of the four students, three of the accused, Chukwudi Ndudikwa, Malcolm Jamal Frank and Tevin Mgbo belong to the Maroon Tigers basket ball team, while Lucien Kidd is a former football player.

As per Fulton County Courthouse records, Ndudikwa and Frank face rape and aggravated sodomy charges, whereas Mgbo is indicted for aggravated sodomy, kidnapping and reckless conduct.

Morehouse College Police arrest warrants and incident reports allege that Frank, Kidd and Ndudikwa raped an unidentified 18-year-old Spelman College undergraduate. They forced the victim into a room against her will and engaged in non-consenting sex under the influence of an unknown substance March 8, during Spring Break.

However, lawyers for the three accused men defend their clients by saying that both parties were under the influence of drug and alcohol, and together were involved in consensual sex.

In the second sexual assault incident, Lucien Kidd is accused of raping another Spelman student off campus.

Each of the four men has been released on a $10,000 bond after being arrested for the sexual assaults in March.

Morehouse College police and the Fulton County District Attorney's Office will be working together to investigate each case.

The sexual assault charges are reported to have come at the wrong time for Morehouse College, just a week away from President Obama's commencement address, May 19.
