The final X-Men Wolverine to be performed by Hugh Jackman was believed to be called "Weapon X".
Every X-Men fan have been waiting for the final Wolverine performance of Hugh Jackman. It was believed that this final wolverine solo movie would be an adaptation of the comic book storylines that involves the character, Old Man Logan by Mark Millar. However, he last released movie, "X- Men: Apocalypse", hinted that the next Wolverine movie may be built around Weapon X and Essex Corporation, Flickering Myth reported.
Even though the movie is already on production, 20th Century Fox did not release an official title for Wolverine 3 yet. But a reliable source revealed that the movie being shot will be called "Weapon X". The movie is not what you would expect, Gamezone reported.
The Movie title "Wolverine: Weapon X" seems to be legit since Weapon X is the name of the project that created wolverine. Also, it is assumes that Fox would add the character's name, Wolverine, in order to attract more moviegoers.
The last wolverine movie would feature an old version of Logan. Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman also revealed initially during the Comic con that this Logan in the new Wolverine will be in all his aged glory. There are leaked images that supported this claim. Also, it was said that the movie will feature Wolverine's female clone, X-23, which is also known as Laura in Marvel comics.
The experiment operation, Weapon X, is the event that could link Logan to Laura (X-23). This movie might also provide a closure and answer the mysteries around Logan's character.
The fans are reminded, however, to take this news with caution as most rumored movie titles end up being false. It is well advised to wait for 20th Century Fox to release an official statement regarding the title. In San Diego Comic con, the title, a footage and a poster will be revealed.
