Insomniac Games' upcoming "Spider-Man PS4" game will be exclusive in PlayStation 4, which is being published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

During the press conference of Sony at E3 2016, the publisher made known to the public that a new "Spider-Man" game is being developed by the video game company - Insomniac Games. A brief video trailer was also unleashed, showcasing Spiderman with a unique outfit, which includes a large, white spider symbol across Spidey's chest. And Insomniac confirmed it in their official Twitter account that the game will be exclusive to PlayStation 4, Polygon reported.

As the American video game publisher - Activision, was the license guardian of the "Spider-Man," Marvel Games is taking the power back, and decided to collaborate with only the best developers and publishers, Push Square reported.

Jay Ong, Marvel Games' head, stated that even they've had a long history of success with Activision, But, Marvel Games is certain that the future of the "Spider-Man" console games is with Sony and Insomniac. And it is long gone, with regards of Activision handling "Spider-Man."

Bill Rosemann, Marvel Games Creative Director, explained that video game company Insomniac is a perfect match for "Spider-Man" game, for the reason that not only their company is a world class game developers that make phenomenal story-driven experiences, Insomniac Games also craft games that fires up with personality, humor and fun.

Rosemann stated that PlayStation 4 is one of the most action-packed gaming platforms, their company also has an amazing line-up of first party titles and a community of the most passionate gamers that they are thrilled to play with, Playstation Lifestyle reported.

However, the "Spider-Man PS4" game is not based on Tom Holland's forthcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" film, which the movie starred a more seasoned Peter Parker - as creative Director Bryan Intihar and Rosemann with Geoff Keighley talked about "Spider-Man PS4" game on YouTube Live.
