‘House of Cards' Season 5 Spoilers: Claire Underwood will Betray her Husband Frank Underwood?
ByAs the season 4 of "House of Cards" came to an end, the upcoming season of the American drama series already had speculations that Frank Underwood is likely to meet his death.
Bringing back everyone's mind into the finale episode of "House of Cards" Season 4, it showed Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey) wanting to be re-elected for a second term in the highest position in the government, and with his wife, Claire Underwood (portrayed by Robin Wright), to be Frank's Vice President in the election.
But, rumors came up that the forthcoming "House of Cards" Season 5, Claire may want to be the president. That being said, fans are forming a theory that Claire will get rid of her husband permanently, Vine Report, reported.
Some spoilers are hinting that in "House of Cards" Season 5, Robin Wright's character may try to make sure that her husband is removed from his post and she may even take the support of Michael Kelly's Doug Stamper. As Stamper has been the most trusted supporter of Frank.
However, the American actor Kelly made a statement that the loyalty of his character to the president could be compared to an addiction. Kelly also pointed out that his alcohol drinking and his love for Underwood are like strong addictions for him, Goldderby reported.
Words also came up that "Alien: Resurrection" actress Sigourney Weaver, may be added to the cast of the show and Weaver is geared up to be portraying a character opposing president Frank.
The season 5 of "House of Card" will feature a new set of screenwriters - the Canadian-born playwright - Melissa James Gibson, and Frank Pugliese (replacing Beau Willimon). Gibson and Pugliese is said to create a controversy on the drama series, Movie News Guide, reported.
Netflix is slated to release "House of Cards"season 5 in 2017.
