California based startup, Foldimate, is helping lazy people to reduce their troubles in doing household chores by designing laundry folding robot. Sometimes, manual folding can be time-consuming for some people and this robot promises to take care of the problem.

Claiming to work two times faster than human, Foldimate laundry-folding robot will make a debut in 2018. Without mentioning the exact price, the website has opened pre-order registrations with a cost between $700 and $850, NY Daily News reported.

What does the laundry-folding robot does to your laundry?

There are various laundry-specific features offered by the folding friend. It offers easy-clipping as users can hang the items easily. And then, Foldimate machine would fold your laundered clothes without putting your hands on them. It promises to fold twice faster than a DIY.

It takes 10 seconds to fold each shirt and using the steam, it de-wrinkles your garment. The workload capacity is 20 garments per load. This robot also softens your dry clothes and spray perfume on them, Foldimate website claimed. Unfortunately, the smart laundry folding machine may not be able to handle garments that are too large or too small in size.

CEO Gal Rozov talked to US Weekly that the company received positive comments on the laundry-folding robot including some of them on social network platforms.

People are excited for the laundry washing machine although it is not an indication on how many people will actually make a purchase.
