'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Release Date Divulged But Fans Are Not Pleased; Check Out Why?
ByThis year's holidays just got better for fans of the "Dragon Ball" series! Recently surfaced reports hint "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will finally launch in holidays this year, however players are not quite pleased with the other part of the announcement that reveals the title will only be available on selected areas and selected platforms.
No prizes for guessing, fans went berserk following the announcement that noted "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will only be up for grabs in Japan, Europe and North America. This piece of news, without questions raised quite a few eyebrows among fans, while some are simply tied up in knots about the sequel's debut on selected platforms. While players in Europe and North America will be able to get the game on PC as well as Xbox One, Japanese players will only be able to play "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" on PS4, iTech Post reported.
Bandai Namco and DIMPS have remained mum regarding the regions where the next installment of the highly-regarded franchise will hit the shelves. This move of restricting the title on limited platforms from the publisher and developer stirred conversations among players, resulting in much hatred from those who do not have the aforementioned gaming consoles.
While the team behind the fan-favorite title seem to have come on the hit list of "Dragon Ball" fans, Anime News Network reported that the upcoming second installment will enable players to engage in fighting for a cause as they set out on a mission to defend the history of "Dragon Ball."
In order to complete the mission and to come out triumphant, gamers need to fight and make sure that history remains unchanged while restoring peace all the time. That said, players will be required to amend some part of history though purely based on their judgement of what changes are for the better.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" does not have a release date associated with it yet, however several reports indicate that the title will be available for PC, Xbox One and PS4 by December this year.
