Not too many games have debuted this month and with the biggest gaming expo of the year E3 is slated to take place, it's quite understandable. Nevertheless, the month witnessed the return of "Doom" and the concluding chapter in the "Uncharted" chronicle besides some other impressive titles.

Basically, the month is not completely desolated in terms of gaming releases - it served players who were in the mood for a first-person free run as well as those who wanted to iron out a few mysteries.

"No Man's Sky" was the only major title slated to be released in June but its release got postponed to August.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Faith makes her comeback in "Mirror's Edge Catalyst," the highly-anticipated sequel of the original title. This is not just an ordinary sequel - "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" will be a reboot origins story for Faith, giving a sneak peek of the new story brutality and conspiracy in the modern authoritarian city. A lot of new aspects have been added to the "Mirror's Edge" series. Players have the opportunity to set up races or participate in the expansive story, GamingBolt reported.

"Mirror's Edge Catalyst" is slated to release on Tuesday, June 7 for North America and on June 9 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Mighty No. 9

"Mighty No. 9" has battled several issues and controversies but the much-awaited successor to "Mega Man" will finally make an appearance. Things have been going awfully wrong for the title as the game's publisher Deep Silver accidentally released the game's trailer earlier than planned. The game will be available on almost every home platform on June 21 and June 24.

Umbrella Corps

The game can be described as a perfect blend of a vying multiplayer shooter and zombies of "Resident Evil." The shooter has been developed by Capcom's Osaka studio. Set in 2015, the game is set two years after the occurrence of "Resident Evil 6." Players can opt to play as a mercenary from a first-person or a third-person perspective, NDTV Gadgets reported.

The game is slated to debut on June 21, across the globe, and June 23 in Japan for Windows PCs and PS4.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness

"Integrity and Faithlessness" is scheduled to hit the shelves in North America on June 28. The RPG will reportedly be different than its predecessors, featuring a seven member party and smooth shifts from the cut scenes to gameplay. It is slated to release next month.

The Technomancer

"The Technomancer" and spiders haven't been quite successful together - in fact more of a miss than hit with titles such as "Mars: War Logs" and "Bound by Flame." Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped the developers from continuing this string of efforts as "The Technomancer" takes place in the same setting as "Mars War Logs."

"The Technomancer" marks the developer's first foray in the current gen domain, as it debuts on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is slated to release worldwide on June 28.

We Happy Few

Developed by Compulsion Games, "We Happy Few" is an upcoming first-person survival video game, developed on Unreal Engine 4 and is presently in pre-alpha state. "We Happy Few" strikes a perfect balance between survival horror and a sandbox element, challenging players to escape Wellington Wells without stirring doubt in the minds of those around them. In the making since February 2015, and despite no concrete release date is associated with it, speculations hint the game will launch on PC and Xbox One in June.

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter

If speculations doing rounds are anything to go by, "Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter" will continue the title's inclination for fascinating conundrums and consequences. The game is scheduled to debut on June 10 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
