Amid several rumors hinting that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will feature a slew of different islands hinging on the actually existing islands of Hawaii for the fans to explore. A few leaks surfaced online confirming that the upcoming role-playing video games would wind up in the spanking new Alola region.
Ardent "Pokemon" fans have something more to look forward to as The Pokemon Company, along with Nintendo divulged that the Alola region of "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" does encompass an array of fascinating islands. The team behind the upcoming game also offered some more details about them. The recently-released trailer by The Pokemon Company also dives into the iconic Pokemon in the game, AttackOfTheFanboy reported.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" will boast five islands - each, a far cry from the other. Players can hang around and also catch Pokemon on these islands. Four of the aforementioned islands will be "natural," while one will be artificial.
The Alola region encompass four islands that are well-heeled in natural beauty, and an artificial one. These islands are inhabited by Pokemon that have never been discovered before, Pokemon-Sunmoon reported.
Fans can play as a trainer who just recently arrived on the island of Alola, and immediately sets out on an adventure. Besides the alluring Pokemon, Alola is inhabited by several "colorful people" including Professor Kukui, who is the island's trustworthy Pokémon professor. He resides nearby the players' residence and looks out for them.
Professor Kukui dons a white lab coat hanging casually over his exposed torso. He is assisted by Lillie, who is about the same age as the players' character. Lillie, reportedly works as Professor Kukui's assistant for secret goals.
Besides Lillie, who plays an important part in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon," players will make several new friends including Hau, an avid Pokemon fan who makes a social acquaintance with the players immediately after they arrive.
