‘College Football Playoff’ Latest Updates: ESPN Release Rankings, Game Brackets TV Airtime Schedules On ABC
ByESPN and ABC start the College Football Playoff opening week with DICK's Sporting Goods Kickoff Week by releasing its early Top 25 hot picks and the airtime schedules of opening match brackets. Alabama tops the list where 12 out 25 got in the marquee 1.
The game venues add up to the attention, with Lambeau Field hosting its first college game since 1986, 30 years ago. While 2016's first college football Saturday begins in Dublin, Ireland, ESPN said.

Sept. 1 - Thursday: The Action Begins
Meeting for the first time since 2012, Gamecocks and Commodores will begin the college football playoff season for ESPN opening night at Vanderbilt on Thursday, Sept. 1.
Sept. 3 - Saturday: ESPN/ABC Set
The Saturday Opening will boost college football playoff with a tripleheader from ABC and ESPN with each game having at least one of top six team or a matchup from the ranked teams. Catch complete airtimes below!
Sept. 4 - Sunday: Notre Dame Plays Texas
The football frenzy continues as two of college football's most celebrated programs match-up, No. 9 Notre Dame at Texas from Austin, Texas.
Sept. 5 - Labor Day Monday: No. 14 Ole Miss vs. No. 4 Florida State
Labor Day Night Game slate will conclude ESPN's college football's first week with No. 14 Ole Miss vs. No. 4 Florida State in the 2016 Camping World Kickoff from Orlando, Fla. It is the 13th annual primetime Labor Day game begun in 2002 at ESPN.
