CBS has declared that one of its late night shows, "The Late Late Night with James Corden" has now surpassed the one billion view mark in total views in its Youtube channel last Monday.

Deadline reports that the channel currently has one hundred clips with an average 1,000,000 views each. Among its most popular series is the show's "Carpool Karaoke" clips are systematically earning viral hits. All the 16 "Carpool Karaoke" clips thus far have ten million views and above, ten of those clips have passed twenty million views.

Furthermore, the channel right now has the most viewed clips in the late night category on YouTube: Adele and Bieber's Carpool Karaoke videos earned a total of 171 million views. Adele's clip has 98 million views.

Corden's quick ascent to the late night stratosphere is even more remarkable considering he only took over the reigns of the "Late Late Show" from fellow Brit Craig Ferguson a little more than a year ago.

According to the Wrap, Corden's crew just won two Webby People's Voice Awards for the online video category, one for entertainment channel and one for variety channel. The show additionally acquired a Shorty Award in recognition of the show's social media campaigns.

Recently, the "Into the Woods" actor made a parody of Beyonce's "Lemonade" concept film, the BBC reported.. In the clip, he made an effort to sport a big blonde wig, tight knickers and a bra just like the "Crazy In Love" star did in the hour-long film.

"This is in the news, that's in the news, what else is in the news?" he says in a hushed voice.

He also appeared to be making a lemonade in one scene, "seductively" squeezing lemons.

The YouTube channel of "The Late Late Show" has accumulated 4.7 million subscribers since its premiere on March 23, 2015.
