Hunter College students playing 'Abortion battles' game during a birthday party celebration at the campus, Feb 27, has been caught on video and ignited protests among abortion opponents and pro-life communities.
The video, titled 'Chaz's 20th Birthday Hunter College,' posted on YouTube was later taken down completely due to public outcry.
Greg Pfundstein of the Chiaroscuro Foundation, told the New York Post that, "It's callous. It's sickening. It's not funny."
The game was played by male students who took turns to insert balloons inside their shirts to imitate the pregnancy bump and the opponents attacked them with plastic knife or forks to burst the balloons pretending that they were stabbing the fetuses.
Marco Rosales, who posted the video, told the newspaper that the game was somewhat unconventional but it was really fun.
While the game was being played, some students yelled, 'Kill that baby! Kill it!'
A female student present at the party told CBS, that the boys showed immaturity but did not do anything bad to offend anybody.
'Abortion Battles' incident is being investigated by Hunter College Dean.
Freshman Aaron Williams told Pix 11 that it is disturbing to see a group of students putting balloons under their shirts and pretending they are babies.
Hunters' spokeswoman told the newspaper that the decision to play that game at the cafeteria was spontaneous and that it wasn't planned.
