Ford Memorial Chapel, Allegany College, was used for a sex tutorial by two educators, Marshall Miller and Kate Weinberg, who offered tips on masturbation techniques to students.

The event, 'I Heart The Female Orgasm' was hosted by Allegheny's student government, Allegheny College's Reproductive Health Coalition, Young Feminists and Queers and Allies. It was funded by student activities fees.

"Some people figure out masturbation and orgasm as teenagers, some people figure it out later than that," Weinberg told College Fix. "And some people figure it out earlier than that. Like preschool age."

Both the sex educators told the students present that masturbation is not a sin.

The college's chaplain, Jane Ellen Nickel, told the newspaper that there was nothing wrong in holding such an event and hoped students would feel comfortable attending religious services there later.

Normally, every week, the campus chapel, built in 1902, conducts catholic mass and non-denominational services.

Once the program concluded, there were stalls put up inside the chapel that sold buttons, t-shirts and hats with the program's name. It also sold books for amazing orgasms, such as, "I Heart Female Orgasm: An Extraordinary Orgasm Guide," written by program coordinators, Marshall Miller and Dorian Solot.

One of the students present at the event, Shannon McAvinchey, told the newspaper that the organisers were not trying to upset any religious feelings by hosting the event in the church.
