Considering many men have a lackadaisical approach to hygiene it should come as no surprise that men wear their underwear at a few times before washing them.

A study conducted by Glotech, a domestic appliance retailer, found that more than 25 percent of men will wear a pair of underpants more than once before they feel the need to wash them. About 8 percent of them admitted to wearing their boxers or briefs three times before chucking it into the washing machine. Some people even admitted to wearing a pair for more than five days without washing,Complex reported.

For the study, researchers surveyed 2,000 people to find out as much as they could about people's views on which items need washing more regularly, which items they can get another days use out of and who is in charge of the washing in their households.

That same study revealed that nearly 90 percent of UK women wear their underwear only once before throwing it into the laundry pile,The Huffington Post reported.

The same group were also polled on who is responsible for keeping the clothes clean in their home and found that less than 50 percent of men feel responsible for making sure their pants are clean, with 42 percent saying the onus is on their partner and a further 8.58% saying they rely on their mum for help with the washing hamper.
