The University of Chicago is baffled over an unidentified mail it received addressed to Henry Walton Jones, Jr.-aka Indiana Jones. The surprise package contained a detailed replica of "University of Chicago Professor Abner Ravenwood's journal from "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark", said the University.

The University is pondering the million-dollar question: who sent the journal of Indian Jones?

The University believes that the pranksters behind the mail must have embedded clues for others. In order to crack the puzzle, the University has taken toTumblr and sought help from the Internet.

The book itself is a bit dusty, and the cover is teal fabric with a red velvet spine, with weathered inserts and many postcards/pictures of Marion Ravenwood (and some cool old replica money) included. It's clear that it is mostly, but not completely handmade, as although the included paper is weathered, all of the "handwriting" and calligraphy lacks the telltale pressure marks of actual handwriting, the University posted on Tumblr.

It said that the mail didn't have U.S. postage. It was received in a bin mail. The stamps on the package were fake.

The University also posted that it contacted Lucasfilm, production company behind "Indian Jones" films. The filmmakers have denied their hand in it.

It said officials at Lucasfilm denied that it was some type of viral marketing package for any upcoming Indiana Jones film or event.

The University is actively seeking the senders or any clues about it..
