The future of the NBA will be on display in Chicago for the opening game of the 2015 Champions Classic.

When the Kentucky Wildcats (2) tip off with the Duke Blue Devils Tuesday night, we could see at least five players who will be lottery selections in this spring's NBA Draft. The matchup also pits arguably the two most effective recruiters in college basketball's "one-and-done" era.

We almost got this matchup in last season's NCAA Tournament final, though Wisconsin ended Kentucky's perfect run in the Final Four.

"I wish we were playing a year ago at the end," Kentucky coach John Calipari said in his weekly press conference. "Mike (Krzyzewski) has done a heck of a job, because when you watch the tape, they're driving the ball. They're running good stuff to put them in positions to drive the ball. He is mixing up their defense like I've never seen."

Kentucky will likely start Jamal Murray at point guard and Skal Labissiere at center, while Duke will feature Brandon Ingram at guard, with power forward Chase Jeter and guard Derryck Thornton coming off the bench. All five freshmen could wind up leaving school after one season to declare for the NBA Draft.

"We're going to look at them and get after it defensively," Ingram said at a pregame press conference. "[We'll go through the] same preparation - our first road game and our first test game, so we're going to listen to coach and let the older guys lead us."
