The Clemson Tigers (1) are in the driver's seat for the College Football Playoff (CFP) and for the ACC title, but in the way is the team that has won the last three ACC titles.
Dating back to the first ACC title game in 2005, either Florida State or Clemson has played it all but three years, and the Florida State Seminoles (16) have won it four times. Clemson has only been to the title game twice and won once.

The Tigers can do themselves a huge favor by winning, which would leave them as the ACC Atlantic's only unbeaten team and the rest of the field with at least two losses. The significance of the game is not lost on Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.
"My main focus right now is getting these tests done this week and finishing up school," he told reporters Monday. "And then football.
"Regardless what the past has brought to us, we're still going to be motivated just because of the opportunity we have.
"Each week is the biggest game of the week and now this is the biggest game."
