Rising star Alessia Cara shared a new song off her forthcoming debut album, "Know-It-All."

The 19-year-old Canadian songstress, who stunned the world earlier this year with her breakout hit "Here," shared "Wild Things," "a slick, modern slice of power-soul that will appear on her new full-length album," Fader reported.

"Wild Things" function as an anthem for those who don't feel they fit into the norm. With lines like "we don't care what they say no way, no way," and "they're not cooler than we are," Cara champions self-acceptance and urges listeners march to the beat of their own drum.

"This song has a special place in my heart and brain," Cara revealed on Twitter.

Earlier this year, Cara told Pitchfork she wants to empower people with her music.

"Even if it sounds vulnerable, or not as uplifting, I still want to share a message that's going to help people," the singer said. "Artists like Lorde and Raury, who really speak for young people. That music resonates with me, and it puts a positive light on teens; I love teen anthems."

She also explained that she likes all kinds of messages in music, not just those that tough "upon a specific subject."

"I really look up to songwriters like Drake or Ed Sheeran; they might not say things with a powerful political message, but they bring out a different kind of message about things like love," she said.

"Know-It-All," which is slated to drop Nov. 13 via Def Jam, is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
