Popstar Taylor Swift has been named the highest paid musician in 2015 after reportedly racking up more than a million every single day this year, Inquisitr reported.

The 25-year-old hitmaker's fifth studio album, "1989" -- which was released in October 2014 and sold more than 5 million copies by July -- her current world tour, and the endorsement deals she has with diet coke and Elizabeth Arden, helped her accumulate $317.8 million this year. According to the Inquisitr, she racked up $16.8 million after just five shows in North America,

"Right now, Taylor is untouchable," Mike Raia, Los Angeles-based media analyst, told The Express. "She is so far ahead of everyone else in the industry that she has become not only a powerhouse entertainer but also an important mover and shaker on the commercial side of the music business."

In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Swift revealed that she is down to Earth and enjoys watching episodes of "Friends."

"I'm around people so much," Swift told GQ. "Massive amounts of people. I do a meet-and-greet every night on the tour, and it's 150 people. Before that, it's a radio meet-and-greet with 40 people. After the show, it's 30 or 40 more people. So then when I go home and turn on the TV, and I've got Monica and Chandler and Ross and Rachel and Phoebe and Joey on "Friends" marathon, I don't feel lonely. I've just been onstage for two hours, talking to 60,000 people about my feelings. That's so much social stimulation. When I get home, there is not one part of me that wishes I was around other people."

With three months left in her world tour, Swift's earnings this year are expected to increase.
