University of Tennessee is in a joyful mood as NBC'S 'Today' is scheduled to be shot live on Knoxville campus Monday.

The event will also feature country singer-songwriter Kip Moore who will be performing his two-week No. 1 song, "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck," as a part of the "Kathie Lee and Hoda Go Back to College" special, reports WBIR.com.

"You've got so much spirit among the student body. That gives us energy when we are playing, so we always look forward to playing on college campuses," said Moore in a statement.

This is the second time Moore will be appearing on the show.

Moore whose debut album "Up all Night" released this April is the best country debut album of 2012.

The campus is all set to buzz with activity as a huge number of spectators are expected to turn up to the event which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will go live. The university has announced that to secure parking spaces and seats, people who want to be part of the audience are requested to start arriving by 8 a.m.

The university statement reads,

"Students, faculty, staff, and fans are encouraged to wear their orange and come out Monday morning for the show. The show will be set on the south lawn of Ayres-rain or shine-and air on NBC from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. EDT. People who want to be a part of the audience should begin arriving at 8:00 a.m. The audience will stand around the set to help create a Big Orange atmosphere, with limited handicap seating available."

The University of Tennessee won a contest held by the producers of the show to determine which college would be hosting the show.

The show will feature university's faculty and students in many occasions including a quiz show and 'ambush' makeovers.

The show's producers are reportedly conducting a sign challenge where the most impressive signs that demonstrate why fans love Kathie Lee and Hoda will be featured in the show.
