Quarterback DeShone Kizer led the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (6) to two straight home wins, but will get his first true test playing the Clemson Tigers (12) on the road.
Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C. is often billed as one of the toughest places for visitors to play, earning its nickname "Death Valley." Making the game tougher for Kizer will be his counterpart, DeShaun Watson.

Kizer first played for Notre Dame in their comeback win over Virginia three weeks ago, coming in for Malik Zaire. Kizer was impressive, completing eight passes in 12 attempts for two touchdowns and no interceptions.
But Notre Dame's offensive focal point will be running back C.J. Prosise, who has 600 yards on the ground this season and six touchdowns on 74 carries.
"It's a close team. They'll play hard for each other. There's no quit in them. They'll overcome adversity," Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly said in his weekly press conference, according to ESPN.
On the other side of the field will be a Clemson team looking to snap Florida State's three-year reign over the ACC and help themselves into the College Football Playoff in the process.
"I've been around since probably my (high school) freshman year," ESPN quoted Watson telling reporters in a pregame press conference. "From what I've been seeing, we've never kind of had that respect or gotten over that hump. I really don't care about the polls. We're going to do what we've got to do."
