#MarsAnnouncement: Twitter Reacts Hilariously to NASA's Revelation of Water Existing on Mars
ByNASA revealed some compelling evidence that liquid water currently exists on Mars on Monday, and Twitter reacted just how you would have wanted it to.
"#MarsAnnouncement" was among the top trending topics on Twitter in the United States, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, "NASA" was trending in the United Kingdom and Japan, and "Marte," the Spanish word for Mars, was trending in Mexico, Spain, Portugal, and several other European countries.
Authors of a study published in the journal Nature Geoscience detailed how the Red Planet exhibited evidence of liquid water currently flowing. NASA held a press conference Monday morning with various officials to make the announcement.
