Tyler Cook, a four-star power forward from the class of 2016, verbally committed to play basketball at the University of Iowa.

The six-foot-eight prospect from St. Louis, Mo. confirmed his decision to ESPN.com, as he was reportedly also considering Florida, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa State, Virginia, and more.

"Just felt comfortable with them," Cook told ESPN.com. "I've known them for over two years, felt like home on my visit."

Cook ranks 51st on the 2016 ESPN 100 and 13th among other players at his positions. 247 Sports gave Cook a 0.9690 composite score and ranked him 74th overall in his recruiting class and the 16th best power forward.

Regardless, evaluators like that Cook has already built up good size that should allow him to be physical in the low post. He is also a highly talented scorer with the athleticism to beat defenders physically and pull down offensive rebounds as well.

"I am just going to try and do my job and fit in and play hard," Cook told Scout.com. "I feel like they can use me in their system and I will do everything the coaches ask me to do and try to do everything I can to help the team win."
