The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (14) are picking up right where they left off last season, as they take their dangerous rushing attack to South Bend.
Georgia Tech's army of runners will test The Notre Dame Fighting Irish's (8) defense, but the host team will also have to alter their offensive approach with DeShone Kizer taking over at quarterback for an injured Malik Zaire.

In two games thus far, Georgia Tech put up 69 points on Alcorn State and 65 on Tulane, running for 915 yards with 13 different ball carriers. Justin Thomas has made the most pass attempts for the Yellow Jackets with 13, though he and three other teammates have at least that many carries.
While they have not come to face a defense as tough and experienced as Notre Dame's, the Irish have yet to see a run game so aggressive and effective.
"Certainly, it's a huge step up in competition," Georgia Tech head football coach Paul Johnson said in his pregame press conference, according to ESPN. "It's really a tough place to play. They have a great home-field advantage, a lot of tradition, and some really good football players.
"You're never as good or bad as it seems. There's a middle ground, and it's my job to point that out to our guys. Sometimes, when everybody is telling you you're all this and the cat's meow, that's a trap and you better not fall into it."
