Tom Izzo added another piece to his impressive 2016 recruiting class, securing a commitment from four-star point guard Cassius Winston.

According to ESPN, Winston chose Michigan State over two other finalists: Stanford and Pittsburg. He ranks 29th on the 2016 ESPN 100 and is Izzo's third recruit from that list.

ESPN evaluators believe he needs to fill out physically and take better care of the ball, but has enormous talent shooting the ball of a catch or off the dribble, and has deep range as well.

"When I went there, they play as a family. They play together. They're trying to win games and win the national championship. Those are the goals that I have for myself," Winston told MLive.com of Michigan State. "[Izzo] has been great to me.

"He's been Loyal to me for four years. I've been building a great relationship with him over the last four years so, we're pretty close now."

247 Sports gave Winston a 0.9887 composite score and also ranked him among the 30 best high school recruits in the class of 2016. Winston will arrive on campus alongside Josh Langford, a five-star shooting guard, and Nick Ward, a four-star center.

Izzo could soon bolster his 2016 recruiting class further, ESPN learned, as Michigan State is among the finalists for Miles Bridges, a five-star small forward.
