With just eight touches against Virginia Tech, Braxton Miller boosted his NFL Draft stock, proved to be a viable offensive playmaker, and already made a solid entry for Play of the Year.

But he may be ready to expand his role in the Ohio State offense even more.

Speaking with The Columbus Dispatch, Miller said he feels like his right shoulder is strong enough to throw passes.

"I can," Miller said. "It's up to Coach Meyer and the play call, and how I feel."

Ohio State hosts Hawaii on Saturday for its first home game of the season, a matchup the Buckeyes will be heavily favored in. Depending on the score, Meyer could give J.T. Barrett more reps at quarterback than he did last week in Blacksburg, Va. as Cardale Jones is expected to start.

Like the ongoing Jones-Barrett QB competition, Miller could enter a similar one with Jalin Marshall, a sophomore hybrid back returning from being suspended last week. But Miller also lined up at QB last week when Meyer dialed up plays out of the wildcat formation.

One of those plays led to the spin move seen 'round the Internet. The difference this week could well be Miller unleashing a throw in one of those plays.

As for the downright filthy spin move Miller pulled en route to a 53-yard touchdown, he said he does not have cable and has not seen it, as it has been on nearly constant replay all week. He also told The Dispatch it is not his favorite play that he has ever made and comes in after a one-yard touchdown run against Penn State in 2012.

"I just want to get better," Miller said. "I can't wait till Saturday against Hawaii and showcase some more talent."
