Penn State's ex-president Graham Spanier's attorney has slammed the Louis Freeh report which has played a crucial role in the charging Jerry Sandusky.

In the press conference, Spanier's attorney Timothy Lewis said that there is nothing 'full or complete' about the report and called the retired FBI agent Louis Freeh a 'biased investigator' who produced a 'blundering and indefensible indictment,' reports ESPN. He also added that no court would take the claims made in the report seriously.

Spanier was not present in the Wednesday's press conference called by the attorney.

He has not been charged by the prosecutors despite being named in the Freeh report as responsible for protecting the school's brand name over the safety of the children, along with other officials.

"The Freeh Report, as it pertains to Dr. Spanier, is a myth. And that myth, along with the free pass its author has enjoyed thus far, ends today," said Lewis.

Tim Curley, once the school's athletic director, and Gary Schultz, former vice president of Penn State are also mentioned in the report. They were charged Aug.16 with concealing child sex-abuse allegations against Jerry Sandusky and later lying about their involvement to a grand jury. They have pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Lewis went on criticizing Louis Freeh and his staff throughout the conference for their failure in interviewing key witnesses and gathering facts.

When questioned about an alleged email exchange between Spanier and Schultz and Curley, Spanier's other lawyer John.E Riley smartly deviated the question and said, "Ultimately we're going to defer to Dr. Spanier to explain what he meant and intended by that."

Later, in an interview with ABC news, Spanier himself thrashed the Freeh report, saying that the accusations were 'absolutely wrong' and did not have any hint of Sandusky abusing the children during his tenure.

He narrated his personal experience of being a victim of physical abuse by his father and hence, he said, has a 'heightened sensitivity' to child abuse.

The Jerry Sandusky abuse scandal completely marred the reputation of the Penn State. Though, Sandusky was charged in June, the repercussions of it are still being experienced by all those associated with Penn State.
