Though it will not be in front of the home faithful, Michigan fans are finally going to see Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines coaching the Wolverines football team.

A Michigan alumnus and a former Wolverine quarterback who played for Bo Schembechler, Harbaugh took the head coach position at his alma mater in in Dec., 2014 after leaving the San Francisco 49ers and the NFL.

His return to Michigan is also a return to college football, as he coached Stanford from 2007 to 2010 before taking the 49ers job. One of the most historic college football programs in the nation, Michigan is in need of a shakeup, which is exactly what Harbaugh has been able to do at his last two jobs.

Fox Sports 1 will air the game live and will also offer an online feed with Fox Sports Go. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET in Salt Lake City, Utah. You can also listen to the game live here.

The Utes have won two out of three against Michigan, though all three of the two teams' meetings have been in Ann Arbor. According to Utah Athletics, this is the first time Michigan has ever played the Utes in Salt Lake City.

While Michigan is not expected to compete for the Big Ten Championship in Harbaugh's first year, the coach is still seeking any advantage he can get. For example, he told the school's athletic department website he would not reveal his depth chart too early in order to keep Utah's coaching staff in the dark.

Even still, he will not public name his starting quarterback until game time, but did disclose that he has told the players involved in the competition.
