The new iPhones and an overdue TV device upgrade are expected to headline Apple's fall event, but the company is also expected to debut a particular long-awaited device.

Citing unnamed sources, 9to5 Mac reported that Apple will unveil the iPad Pro, a MacBook sized tablet the company could envisions as a 2-in-1 business-centric device. 9to5 Mac also learned that the iPad Pro is likely to be the 12.9-inch tablet's official name.

But Apple is also expected to unveil the iPad Mini 4, which in combination with the Pro could help the company spark waning tablet sales. 9to5 Mac also learned Apple is developing a new iPad Air, but that it would not be released until next year. Both tablets are expected to hit shelves in Nov., with pre-orders starting in Oct.

Apple's Sept. 9 event is now starting to get crowded, if the new report winds up true. Though Apple is tight-lipped about everything until go-time, now is about the time where such leaked information is most believable.

Apple also booked a much larger venue for this year's fall event, but a larger lineup of new products is likely not the only reason for the decision. For example, the new iPhones are typically the centerpiece of the Sept. reveal and Apple is expected to debut the most significant "S" upgrade in its history.

As BuzzFeed News learned in late July, Apple is also expected to reveal its upgraded Apple TV device. While some expect the company to eventually design a full television set, the Apple TV set-top box has not been upgraded since 2012 and was overdue.

In addition to new iPhones, Apple typically reveals some sort of upgrade to its laptop and desktops lines. 9to5 Mac learned "new Macs" are expected to be unveiled next week, but did not specify what kind.
