The Delta Aquarid meteor shower will dazzle the skies around the globe in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. The meteor shower started on July 12 and will continue till August 23.
Slooh will broadcast a Delta Aquarids live stream for the meteor showers peak beginning at 9 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Northern Californian reported.
The Delta Aquarids is a minor meteor shower that can be viewed around the world, as reported by NASA.
Time reported that the best time to witness the meteor shower is between moonset and sunrise early Wednesday morning.
The best time to get a clear view is before dawn at about 2 am as the stars at that time are easy to see and are most frequent, with up to 15 or 20 meteors per hour.
For people living in the city for whom it may be difficult to witness the meteor shower, NASA experts have suggested a place away from urban light pollution or a place with a clear view of the night sky.
The meteor shower may not be clearly visible later this week due to the full moon, as the bright light of the moon will make viewing the Delta Aquarids difficult during the evening.
