Nick Bosa had offers from multiple other college football powerhouses, his hometown teams of Florida State and Florida included, but still ended up where everyone thought he would: Ohio State.

A defensive end, Bosa plays the same position as his older brother Joey, an All-American last season, and now the five-star high school prospect will likely take over at the position for the Buckeyes next season. Nick is a member of the class of 2016, whereas Joey is heading into his junior year and projects to be a high selection in next year's NFL Draft.

In announcing his decision, Bosa even shared an image on Twitter of his older brother placing a Buckeyes helmet on his head with the message: "Hand down the legacy." There is a chance Joey and Nick play together next season, since the former will have another year of eligibility, but the draft will be beckoning.

"I think having Joey as his older brother has helped him tremendously. If you watch Joey's high school film and how he has matured from his freshman, sophomore and into his junior year, Nick was always around watching him as a youth," Rocco Casullo, Bosa's head coach at St. Thomas Aquinas high school, told Cleveland.com. "Nick always wanted to compete with his older brother and play with the older kids and show everyone that he is a great football player, which he is."

Aside from Florida State and Florida, Bosa turned down offers from Alabama, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and more.

247 Sports gives Bosa a 0.9952 composite rating and ranks him the eighth overall prospect in his class. On the 2016 ESPN 100, Bosa is third overall. But Cris Carter, an OSU alum, NFL Hall of Fame wideout, and St. Thomas football assistant, may have given the highest praise of all.

"I can't say it because Joey will get mad," he told Cleveland.com, "but the little brother might be better than Joey."
