As identical twins, Aaron and Andrew Harrison have spent a lot of time together on the basketball court and off, which has them itching to finally play for two different teams.
According to ESPN, the Harrison twins told Andy Katz at the NBA Draft Combine they were beyond preparing to play apart, but actually looking forward to it. They made it clear there is no animosity between them; they just want to become "Aaron" and "Andrew" rather than "the Harrison twins."
"I mean, I love him more than anybody in the world, but we'll be fine," Andrew Harrison told Katz. "It'll be fun to be looked at as an individual. We can be able to show the world what we can do without each other."
Neither are projected to be selected in the first round during the June 25 draft, so the only way they could seemingly wind up together is if one or both go undrafted.
"We really don't even care that much," Aaron said. "We know it's coming.
"We're excited about it actually."
But for now, they are still the Harrison twins and, though they may not be able to boost their stock into the first round, they are taking care of their karmic stock. Aaron Harrison posted a photo to his Instagram account Thursday of his mother draped over a BMW with a "Happy Mother's Day" message.
