The NBA may be beckoning for Kevin Ollie again, but the head men's basketball coach at Connecticut still seems content to stay put.

An unnamed source told Adam Zagoria, of SNY.tv, that the Oklahoma City Thunder were zeroing in on Ollie to be their next coach. However, the Thunder are only rumored to be reevaluating coach Scott Brooks' future with the team and have not terminated his contract.

Regardless, Ollie shot down the possibility of making the jump to coaching in the NBA for a second consecutive season.

"As I have said many times, I am proud and honored to be the head basketball coach at the University of Connecticut and I have no plans to pursue other opportunities," he said in a statement, via ESPN. "We are already excited about next season and I am looking forward to preparing our team to be the best we can be on the court, in the classroom, and in our community."

The Connecticut alum was rumored to be a hot commodity among NBA teams looking for a new coach last year after he came off leading the Huskies to a National Championship. After failing to even make the NCAA Tournament this year, Ollie's stock took a hit, but he still has an undeniable connection to the NBA.

As a journeyman guard from 1995-2010, Ollie earned himself a reputation as a great teammate, forming a bond with Kevin Durant along the way. The rumors connecting him to Oklahoma City suggest the team would hire Ollie to bolster their chances at keeping Durant.

Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski was first to report that Books may be on "the hot seat" in Oklahoma City, but the team has prospects outside of Ollie. For example, Florida's Billy Donovan may be ready to make the NBA jump and he is reportedly a longtime friend of Thunder owner Sam Presti.
