If the Auburn Tigers hope to pull of a major upset in their rematch with the Kentucky Wildcats (1), they will need to do something entirely different on defense.

Last time the two met on Feb. 21, Auburn put up 75 points on Kentucky, about 20 more than the Wildcats allow on average. However, they allowed 110 points to Kentucky, the first time the Wildcats surpassed triple digits.

Auburn's previous loss to Kentucky was part of a six-game losing streak in the midst of a 4-14 season against SEC teams. Still, Auburn, the second-lowest ranked team in the conference, is riding a three-game winning streak that includes upsets over fifth-ranked Texas A&M and fourth-ranked LSU.

Now after beating two of the only teams to give Kentucky a close call, they find themselves facing off with the mighty Wildcats once again.

"We knew how good we are, even though our record didn't show it," Auburn lead scorer KT Harrell said in a pregame press conference, according to ESPN. "We just knew we had to pick it up defensively. That's what the problem was all season. And we're just proud of everybody and staying together and staying focused on what we have to do to try to win games. And we're just happy to be moving on."

Kentucky survived Florida Friday after a long layoff, but they figure to be loosened up Saturday afternoon.

"The reality of it is, we didn't play with as much energy as Florida played with to start the game," ESPN quoted Kentucky coach John Calipari saying ahead of the game. "I told them at halftime, if that's what we have in store, like that's how we're going to do this, we're going to have some problems."
