The North Carolina Tar Heels (19) are trying to finish an up-and-down season strong, getting another shot at the ACC's top-seeded Virginia Cavaliers (3).

North Carolina lost to Virginia 75-64 at home on Feb., which was their second consecutive loss to snap a 7-1 stretch. Virginia finished the season ranked below the ACC's second-seeded Duke in the AP poll, but still clinched the conference's top seed before losing to Louisville March 7.

Virginia is looking to defend its ACC Tournament title and secure an NCAA Tournament one seed in the process. With a win for the Cavaliers and from Duke in their game against Notre Dame, the ACC Tournament championship would also be a matchup between two potential NCAA Tournament one seeds.

Virginia will also benefit from having Justin Anderson, their second leading scorer. While the Cavaliers are allowing just 50 points per game on average, the best in the nation, their offense can lag at times.

"I was thankful that he could be out there," Virginia coach Tony Bennett said in a pregame press conference, according to ESPN. "Of course he looked rusty, of course, he's going to have certain things. But my hope is next time he's out there, he's better and you just kind of have to go through that."
