The Florida Gators are getting their third crack at the Kentucky Wildcats (1), a team taking their bid for perfection into the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Tournament.

Florida played Kentucky tough on Feb. 7 in Gainesville, but eventually fell 68-61 before getting blown out 67-50 on the regular season finale last week in Lexington. This time, the two meet on a neutral site, but that does not appear to be enough to turn the tide on Kentucky.

Kentucky enjoyed a double-bye in the SEC Tournament, giving them one full week of no games. Florida may have finished their season 8-10 in the conference, but their roster is back to full strength with Michael Frazier II and Dorian Finney-Smith set to play Friday.

"I think we're the only team so far that will have played them three times this year," Gators coach Billy Donovan said in a pregame presser, according to the Associated Press. "So at least there's some familiarity on a quick turnaround. But we'll try to make some corrections, things that we need to get better at and build on. Try to do some different things. Not so much differently, but try to do things better."

For Kentucky, the week-long layoff was welcome, but the team knows they may not be able to afford to let it slow them down even for a little bit.

"It just comes down to executing," the AP quoted Wildcats guard Devin Booker saying in his pregame comments. "I'm sure they (the Gators) still have that loss on their heads, so I feel like they're going to come out harder."
