The Duke Blue Devils (3) are looking to complete a season sweep of their bitter in-state rival North Carolina Tar Heels (19).

Duke took game one of the season series in Durham in a thrilling 92-90 overtime victory, complete with a pregame tribute to the late Tar Heel coach Dean Smith. Now North Carolina looks to return the favor on the court and before the contest, planning to honor Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski on his 1,000th coaching victory.

"That's an unbelievable accomplishment," North Carolina coach Roy Williams said of Krzyzewski's milestone at a pregame press conference. "This is a big-time rivalry, but I loved it over at their place when both teams got together at the center line before the game in honor of coach Smith."

He said he expects the Chapel Hill crowd to pay their respect to Coach K before the game, but the gloves will no doubt come off when that first jump ball goes live.

Since Duke beat Virginia on Jan. 31, they have won 10 in a row, but were not able to catch the Cavaliers for the ACC Tournament's top seed. Duke can, however, lock up a one-seed in the NCAA Tournament.

"The last game we played against them was an amazing game," Krzyzewski said in a pregame press conference, according to ESPN. "It was transition and a lot of it was offensive rebounding... Defensive rebounding, transition defense, and then we've got to hit some shots against them. But we've gotten better since then."

North Carolina followed a 7-1 start in the ACC with a 4-6 stretch, winning their last two in a row.

"Coach (Roy Williams) told us don't worry about Duke until we get this game over with," freshman North Carolina guard Joel Berry said in his pregame comments of the Tar Heels' win over Georgia Tech. "Now our mind is on Duke, and it gives us a lot of momentum."
