The Auburn Tigers are probably not playing for much in the postseason, so their trip to Lexington to play the Kentucky Wildcats (1) is their playoff.

Kentucky has five games to go to clinch an undefeated regular season and Auburn is one of three opponents they have left who they have not faced this season. Auburn is 4-9 in the SEC and has not been able to keep their opponents to a lower point total than what they are averaging.

Auburn does have a pair of guards that hope to break through the rock solid Kentucky defense in K.T. Harrell, averaging 18 points per game, and Antoine Mason, averaging 15 points per game.

"This is one of those opportunities that you can tell your grandchildren about," Auburn coach Bruce Pearl told the team's official website. "I told them this is the biggest on-campus facility in the country. There is not a floor we will play on all year long with as much history and tradition. There is not a building that will be as loud or as full of people that know the game."

Kentucky coach John Calipari acknowledged his team was talking about their historic season, which already includes a team-best 26-0 start.

"They're getting better," he said in a pregame press conference, according to ESPN. "They were talking about it themselves. They brought it up last game... 'We're up 12 (points), let's go. Let's get this to where it's supposed to be,' and they kept playing and they did some good stuff.

"We've still got a ways to go, though."
