ITHACA, N.Y. - Cornell University will host a panel discussion on hunger and homelessness in the region, and the work being done to alleviate those problems, on Monday, April 9 starting at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Panelists include:

Christine Olson, chair and professor of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell
Kathy Schlather, chair of the Human Services Coalition of Tompkins County
Nathan Shinagawa (D-4), vice chair of the Tompkins County Legislature and a congressional candidate
Natasha Thompson, president and CEO of the Food Bank of the Southern Tier

The event is sponsored by Cornell Half in Ten, the Cornell Public Service Center, Cornell United Religious Work, Cornell Hillel, the Center for Jewish Living and Repair the World.
