College basketball is getting its first televised postseason awards show this spring.

ESPN announced it will host the show on April 10 at 8 p.m. ET on its ESPN2 channel. The "College Basketball Awards Presented by Wendy's" will take place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles and eight awards will be handed out, in addition to various honors.

The show is in cooperation with the Los Angeles Athletic Club and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

"The partnership between ESPN and the Los Angeles Athletic Club, Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, Club Nokia and Wendy's creates an opportunity to celebrate the best in college basketball in a new and creative approach," Nick Dawson, ESPN senior director, programming and acquisitions, said in a press release.

ESPN's Rece Davis will host the show alongside Jay Bilas and Jay Williams. Both Bilas and Williams played basketball at Duke University for Mike Krzyzewski, who this season became the first Division I men's basketball coach to win 1,000 games.

According to ESPN's announcement, the following awards will be handed out:

John R. Wooden Award Men's Player of the Year

John R. Wooden Award Women's Player of the Year

John R. Wooden Award Legends of Coaching

Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award

Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award

Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award

Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award

Duke center Jahlil Okafor, Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky, Ohio State guard D'Angelo Russell and Notre Dame guard Jerian Grant are currently favored to win the prestigious Wooden Award for the men, ESPN reported.

"The Hall of Fame's mission is to promote the game of basketball and the best of the best within the sport," John Doleva, president and CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, said in the release. "We look forward to working with our great partners on this new event that will truly serve as a great end of season showcase for college basketball."
