After one week away, the Virginia Cavaliers (2) have moved back to their familiar place staring up at the mighty Kentucky Wildcats (1).

Kentucky is first overall in week 14 of the AP college basketball poll with all 65 first-place votes for a second week in a row and the seventh time all season. At 23-0, they have been ranked first overall every single week this season, including the preseason.

Kentucky downed Georgia and Florida this week and the next two teams that will try to give the Wildcats their first loss will be LSU and South Carolina. Despite being in the midst of a 5-5 season in the SEC, Florida played Kentucky tough, pulling close on several occasions. Still, Kentucky held tough and pulled away any time Florida got close.

"You cannot have fun if the other guy's punching you in the eye," Kentucky coach John Calipari said after the game, according to the AP. "That is not fun. You have to be ready to punch before he punches you. If you're getting licks in first, you'll have a ball. It is fun! But if you come in that ring and all of a sudden your head is moving side to side and your chin, it ain't fun."

Despite registering two wins this week, Gonzaga (3) fell one spot while Virginia moved up to their former spot after beating North Carolina and Louisville. Duke (4) and Wisconsin (5) stayed in their respective spots to round out the top five.

Other than Kentucky, Duke and Wisconsin, four teams stayed put in what was an uneventful top half of the AP poll.

Of the top 25, only seven teams moved by more than two places.

Oklahoma State (21) and Arkansas (24) jumped onto the poll to replace Georgetown and Texas. the Longhorns have been free falling through the AP poll since early on and are continuing to struggle in the Big 12.

Their loss to Oklahoma State was their fourth in a row, a skid they snapped against Kansas State.
