One of the most awaited school decisions on National Signing Day also had one of the most interesting names and stories: Soso Jamabo.

In announcing his decision Wednesday morning, the five-star athlete said his "first school is the University of California, Los Angeles. My second school in the University of California, Los Angeles." To drive the point home, he placed a UCLA Bruins hat on the table in front of him.


UCLA's biggest competitor for Jamabo's commitment was reportedly the University of Texas, though the recruit jokingly said earlier this month he narrowed his decision to the University of Phoenix and ITT Tech.


But Jamabo is an interesting football prospect, to say the least, as Rivals and 247 Sports agree on his five-star rating while ESPN gave him four stars. All three do have him among his position's top five prospects.
