With the game in their own backyard, Arizona is expected to have the advantage, with at least an edge in crowd noise. With a balanced offense averaging 40 points per game, Boise State will have to establish itself early on to take the crowd out of the game as much as possible.
Arizona's defense did not put up flashy numbers, but they showed up in big games and was able to take advantage of their opponents' miscues. Their big wins included defeating Oregon early on, then Utah and Arizona State late in the season.
Boise State opened its season against Ole Miss and lost 35-13, but the only other blemish on their season was a loss to Air Force.
