The Florida State Seminoles (4) have one final test before they can be put into the College Football Playoff (CFP) and it is the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (11).

Florida State has fallen in the committee's rankings despite finishing undefeated for the second straight season, as they seem to struggle through games in a relatively easy schedule. But what Jimbo Fisher and co. can hang their hats on is that they finish.

The defending champs and the reigning Heisman Trophy winner are not the dominant team they were last season, but they find ways to win. That much is abundantly clear to Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson.

"I see a really good football team that knows how to win," he told reporters, according to the Associated Press. "Winning is hard. They've won 28 consecutive games. That's really hard to believe in this day and age.

"They've got a bunch of guys that are good athletes, they are very well-coached and they know how to win. They haven't blown as many people out as maybe a year ago, but they've still got a really fine football team. Make no mistake about that."

Despite clinching the school's first ever back-to-back undefeated seasons with a win against Florida last weekend, Florida State dropped a spot in the rankings. Quarterback Jameis Winston threw four interceptions and completed just half his passes as the Seminoles' defense hung on for the win.

Running the option, Georgia Tech's running game figures to cause headaches for Florida State, as the Yellow Jackets are averaging 339 rushing yards on the ground.

"Georgia Tech has had a tremendous year, they're really hot right now," Fisher told reporters. "Playing great football on offense, defense, special teams... Great win against Georgia coming into the game.

"They can move the ball. They run it, cause you a lot of problems. The option, the dive game, the quarterback game and they're throwing the ball very well. Defensively fly around the ball."
