USC vs UCLA 2014 Live Radio Broadcast: Pac-12 South, CFP On the Line in L.A. Rivalry Matchup
ByWhile other Pac-12 South teams can hope to take the division, the UCLA Bruins (9) control their own destiny as they play their crosstown rival USC Trojans (19).
In Brett Hundley's two years as UCLA's starting quarterback, the Bruins are undefeated against USC, something the Trojans are keenly aware of. Hundley has sent strong signals that he will declare for the NFL at season's end, stating he would love to finish his college career undefeated against USC.

UCLA can take the Pac-12 South and play Oregon for the conference title by winning their final two games. If they can win all three, they would even have a shot at the College Football Playoff. Playing Notre Dame next weekend, USC could spoil those plans by winning out and challenging the Ducks for the Pac-12 title.
"It's always a fun game when you play your crosstown rival and it's great to have something at stake," UCLA head coach Jim Mora told reporters, according to ESPN. "I think I know when I got here, that's one of the things I heard is it would be great to have this game be a game that has meaning and consequence in the Pac-12 if not nationally and I think this one does so it just adds to it, it adds to what is already an amazing rivalry."
Before taking over the Trojans, Steve Sarkisian went 1-2 against UCLA as the head coach at Washington. While dismissing the notion of this game having added significance, Sarkisian acknowledged that coaching at a school USC has a certain weight to it.
"As a Trojan, you live it every day," he said, "this isn't a sometime thing, it's an all the time thing."
