Ohio State vs Michigan State 2014 LIVE Stream/ Radio Broadcast: Big Ten Title and CFP Loom in Game of the Week
ByThe game of the week may well be the one that determines the fate of the Big Ten and both the Ohio State Buckeyes (14) and Michigan State Spartans' (8) shot at the College Football Playoff (CFP).
Both teams are 7-1 overall, 4-0 in the conference and undefeated since week two, though it is Ohio State that is ranked six places lower than their opponent for losing to Virginia Tech. Despite their loss to then-third-ranked Oregon, Michigan State has appeared worthy of a spot in the inaugural CFP.

The Buckeyes and Spartans have had similar seasons, however the former has enjoyed an unexpected breakout from quarterback J.T. Barrett in place of Braxton Miller. Both teams are limiting their opponents to an average of 20 points per game while putting up 45 points themselves.
"I've said since I've been here the coaching that goes on in this league is outstanding. You see different ways people are running the football, different ways they're passing the football," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said ahead of the game, according to the Associated Press. "Very innovative, cutting-edge offensive football being played in this conference on a week-to-week basis. I think you see the same thing defensively."
Michigan State has not lost to a Big Ten opponent since Nov. 2012, whereas Ohio State has lost to a conference foe just once since Urban Meyer took over. That was the Big Ten Conference title game last season against Michigan State.
This game may come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes, as both offenses are well-rounded and highly potent. Barrett is going into the biggest game of his young playing career, whereas Cook has been here before. Regardless, both QBs are going to feel the weight of the Big Ten title and maybe, just maybe a shot at making the CFP looming in the near future.
