When looking for a film school, prospective students cannot do much better than picking a Los Angeles- or New York-based school.

Three of College Factual's 10 best schools for film majors are in the University of California system and six were located in the state. Two are in New York City and the other two were elsewhere on the east coast.

For their methodology (read it in full HERE), College Factual factored graduate earnings, major focus, related major concentration, accreditation and overall college quality. All the sub-factors are then weighted with three different options, simply high, medium and low.
