The Ole Miss Rebels (3) and LSU Tigers (24) are two SEC teams that know about defense.

Only one team this season has scored more than two touchdowns against the undefeated Rebels, but Texas A&M turned the ball over three times hosting Ole Miss. LSU has two shutouts this season and also two games in which the opposition managed only one score.

Ole Miss is one of four SEC West teams in the Associated Press Top 5 and they are currently situated at the top of the division. At 4-0, the Rebels are trying to hold off Mississippi St., Alabama and Auburn.

Despite just two losses, LSU is fifth in the division and the Tigers rebounded from their drubbing at the hands of Auburn with two wins in a row.

"The last two weeks, (LSU has) gotten back to doing their bread and butter - that's physical (play), controlling the clock," Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze told reporters ahead of the game, according to the AP. "They're able to run the football with the outstanding backs that they have."

While both teams' offenses thrive when they are controlling the ball, Ole Miss has done it in the passing game and LSU on the ground. Against Tennessee, Ole Miss allowed 191 net yards of offense, and none came on the ground.

LSU features six backs with at least 100 rushing yards this season, three of whom have more than 300 yards. Ole Miss will need to shut down the Tigers' rushing attack and force LSU's passer to step up.

On the opposing offense is Bo Wallace, a senior quarterback who is having the season of his college football career.

"The big thing for me is I'm not trying to mess it up," he told reporters. "I'm going in and trying to not have any turnovers. The defense is playing well. If we punt it past the 50-yard line, they're probably not going to get points. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable."
